Lamisa Manha Aditee is an aspiring biotechnologist , pursuing her undergraduate program in BRAC University. Currently, her thesis work involves isolating and characterizing therapeutic bacteriophages against clinical isolates from diabetic foot infections. Apart from her research on bacteriophages, Lamisa is contributing to research for a nano bubble technology based advanced water filtration system. This project seeks to improve water purification processes, contributing to global environmental sustainability and public health efforts.She is particularly interested in the fields of virology, cancer bioinformatics, immunology and environmental health. Lamisa is also involved in several other projects outside the lab, such as mental health advocacy work and environmental volunteering. As Millennium Fellow class of 2024, Lamisa has worked on community challenges in her home country with scientific innovation and community involvement to address water pollution and promote sustainable water management practices in Dhaka.
