As an undergraduate in Biochemistry  and Molecular Biology, research interests of Rahnuma Tabassum focus on cancer bioinformatics and differential gene expression analysis to identify oncogenic mutations, regulatory network alterations, and biomarker signatures for early diagnosis, prognosis, and personalized treatment strategies. In order to find new biomarkers, treatment targets, and resistance mechanisms, she is also eager to learn how to integrate various omics layers. These skills are essential to her long-term objective of pursuing a research career in systems biology and translational cancer, where she can use data - driven insights to support precision medicine initiatives.
