Fayez Ahmad is a bioinformatics researcher with a strong interest in cancer informatics. Currently a second-year student at Notre Dame College, Dhaka, he applies computational and statistical approaches to analyze complex biological data, particularly focusing on cancer-related multi-omics datasets. Fayez is skilled in programming and data analysis techniques used to uncover molecular biomarkers.
He has earned multiple national and international accolades, including two Bronze medals at the International Biology Olympiad (IBO) and Silver at the International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO). Deeply committed to science education and outreach, Fayez serves as an academic member of both the Bangladesh Biology Olympiad (BDBO) and Bangladesh Junior Science Olympiad (BDJSO), where he teaches classes and develops challenging olympiad problems. He also leads initiatives such as the Rural Olympiad Community to promote STEM learning in rural areas, aiming to broaden access to quality science education.
