Md. Jubayer Hossain is a biomedical researcher with expertise in cancer epidemiology, neuroepidemiology, infectious disease epidemiology, and cancer bioinformatics. His research integrates machine learning and deep learning with health data—such as electronic health records, multi-omics datasets, and neuroimaging—to identify clinically actionable biomarkers and build predictive models for the early diagnosis and treatment of cancer and neurological disorders. He is also interested in data visualization and model interpretability to enhance clinical translation and biological insight.
He is the Founder and Executive Director of
CHIRAL Bangladesh, where he leads initiatives at the intersection of artificial intelligence and health. He also directs research at
aiHealth Lab and
Big Bioinformatics Lab, focusing on cancer bioinformatics and AI applications in healthcare. In addition to his research leadership, he is deeply involved in capacity building and education. He serves as the Lead Instructor and Organizer of the Training Unit at CHIRAL and as a Lead Instructor
